Congratulations to LaLa Vasquez and Carmelo Anthony on the birth of their first child, a son, born on Wednesday.

His name is Kiyan and he weighed in at 5 pounds 9 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long.

Carmen Vasquez, his maternal grandmother, gushed over seeing him.

“The baby is absolutely gorgeous and I am so excited to have seen my first grandchild!” She added that baby and mom are “doing fine.”

Best wishes to the family on the arrival of their first son!
