Peter R. de Vries May Have Solved Natalee Holloway Case
The Natalee Holloway case has remained open since May 2005 and to many people the fact it has been unsolved has been troubling. Peter R. de Vries, a crime reporter from Holland, may have solved the case by getting Joran Van Der Sloot, a main suspect in the teenager’s disappearance, to confess to committing the crime.

The statement from the prosecutor’s office in Aruba said: “This information may help considerably in the solution of the mystery of Natalee’s disappearance. It may shed a new light on the mode” in which she died and the “method by which her body disappeared.”
Lawyers for Joran Van Der Sloot say the entire case is unfounded and that the prosecution should not have broadcast the information without being sure of the facts.
Does a taped confession exist? Peter R. de Vries says he recorded one and the Aruban authorities have it.
