Ryan Seacrest Protected From Knife Wielding Hoodlum
Chidi Uzoman was arrested outside of Ryan Seacrest’s studio on October 30. The 6′4″ 200 pound Uzoman had attacked one of Seacrest’s bodyguards in September.
Seacrest was in the studio when the incident happened, but had no involvement, according to a new report in Globe.
Uzoman was sentenced to 15 days in jail and three days of probation in the incident. Although Uzoman had a folding knife with him when he was arrested, he never got anywhere close to Ryan Seacrest.
Bodyguards for the entertainer told police that Seacrest was terrified of Uzoman, who he believes is dangerous. Seacrest wanted the man put in jail.
This is not the first close call for someone involved with American Idol and an apparent stalker. Last year, a deranged fan killed herself outside of Paula Abdul’s house.
