Here’s our recap of the five biggest breakups in Hollywood in 2006.
Number 5: Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock. Their marriage wasn’t meant to last a lifetime.. or even a year for that matter. Pamela must have went a big rubbery one when Kid Rock asked to marry her and even admitted that she would have married anyone that asked her this summer. Despite having several wedding ceremonies, it only takes one divorce court to dissolve their summer fling.
Number 4: Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. I’m surprised this marriage went as long as it did. Perhaps co-dependance helped keep this relationship going for 14 long years. I wonder what’s next for Bobby? Perhaps he’ll team up with Flavor Flav and be the next big reality TV star?
Number 3: Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro. I had a feeling this one wasn’t going to last “Until Death Do Us Part.” The creepy way they got married seemed just a little too “brooding” for bouncy Carmen Electra. Oh well.. the two have stayed friends and no offspring were brought into the world as a reminder of their twisted love. Now Carmen can have fun with her Pussycat Dolls once again!
Number 2: Britney Spears and Kevin Federline. You can’t say you didn’t see this one coming like a freight train! After being pregnant for almost 2 years straight, even this country bumpkin figured it is was time to move on and quit “playing with fire” and dump K-Fed.
Both parties appear to be moving on, Britney just bought a 7.2 million dollar home, and Kevin is getting ready for his career in wrestling and thinking about writing a tell all book about Britney since the Spear’s Gravy Train has come to a halt.
Number 1: Heather Mills McCartney and Sir Paul McCartney. All I can say is “Eek!” Heather Mills McCartney was so horrible, she put poor Paul in therapy over it. Lots of allegations and a lot of demands for Paul’s stacks of cash, despite her claims she isn’t a gold digger. I’m sure she had no problems spending all of his cash and will continue to do so.. if the courts allow it, that is.
So that’s it folks. All of these celebs can feel free to kiss whoever they want to bring in the new year! It’s going to be here soon you know…
