Cheesy Potato Casserole

Cheesy potatos are always one of the first things to go when our family gets together. Yet another easy (and cheesy) recipe that’s great for potlucks, get togethers or holiday dinners.

What you’ll need:

  • 2 pounds frozen hasbrowns, thawed.
  • 1/2 cup butter divided into 1/4 cups.
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion.
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup.
  • 1 pint sour cream.
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese.
  • Favorite seasonings to taste.
  • 2 cups corn flakes
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    In large bowl, combine hashbrowns, 1/4 cup melted butter, onion, soup, sour cream, and cheese. Mix until well blended. Pour into 16X9 casserole dish, spreading evenly. Season and cover with corn flakes, then pour 1/4 cup melted butter over top. Bake uncovered for an hour.
