Corn Bread And Beef

This Corn Bread and Beef recipe is a hearty meal that you’re sure to enjoy.

What you’ll need:

  • 1 pound ground beef browned, drained.
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion.
  • 1 can Tomato Soup.
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce.
  • 1 package corn muffin mix.
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon chili powder.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt.
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper.

Optional Ingredients:

  • Can of chili or kidney beans.
  • Green, red or yellow peppers, chopped.

Combine cooked beef with onion in a 9 X 13 inch casserole pan. Stir in soup and other ingredients (not including corn muffin mix) and spread evenly. Prepare muffin mix as directed and pour over meat mixture. Bake in a 425 degree oven for 30-45 minutes, or until cornbread is golden brown.
