This recipe is one of my favorites and is always a hit at parties and family get togethers. It doesn’t require meat.
What You’ll Need

* 16 ounces Cream Cheese. (You can also use reduced fat cream cheese to reduce calories.)
* 16 ounces Sour Cream. (Low or no fat sour cream to lighten it up!)
* 2 packets of your favorite dry taco seasoning.
* Shredded lettuce.
* Tomato. Chopped.
* Green Onions. Diced.
* Shredded Cheese.
* Any other toppings you and your guests might enjoy, ie: jalapeno peppers, black olives, chopped peppers etc.

In large mixing bowl blend sour cream and cream cheese until smooth. (Letting cream cheese
warm to room temp prior to mixing will make blending easier.) Once smooth, slowly add dry taco seasoning until mixture is consistant in color.

Pour taco mixture evenly into a 16X9 glass casserole dish. For best taste and texture prepare this mixture the day before you intend to serve it. If you don’t have a day, 1 to 2 hours will work. Top the mixture with shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, diced tomatos and green onions and any other toppings.

Serve with tortilla chips and some salsa.

It’s sure to be the next big hit at your party!
