Glazed Carrots And Onions

Glazed carrots and onions are a tasty side dish that you’re sure to love. Give this recipe a try for your next holiday get together.

What you’ll need:

  • 1 pound baby carrots.
  • 16 ounce package frozen whole white onions.
  • 1/4 cup butter.
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger.
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt.

Put carrots in a large saucepan with one inch of boiling water. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Add onions, cover and cook for 5 minutes or until veggies are tender. Drain. Return vegetables to the saucepan. Add butter, brown sugar, ginger and salt. Stir frequently on medium-high heat until vegetables are glazed.
