Rachael Ray To Support Holiday Food Drive
Celebrity chef Rachael Ray is showing her holiday spirit by supporting a Holiday Food Drive, taking place at Boscov’s at the Moorestown Mall in Moorestown, New Jersey on November 7, 2007.
The 6abc Holiday Food Drive rally runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Ms. Ray will appear from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Action News’ Matt O’Donnell, Tamala Edwards, and Erica Grow will also be appearing (O’Donnell & Edwards 10-11 a.m., Grow 1-2 p.m.). The Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders will also be on- site, helping everyone rally for cans.
6ABC’s and Boscov’s ongoing support of this Food Drive blends well with Ms. Ray’s philanthropic passion — Yum-o! Yum-o! is a nonprofit organization, founded by Ms. Ray in 2006, that empowers kids and their families to develop healthy relationships with food and cooking. This is
achieved by teaching families to cook, feeding hungry kids, and funding cooking education. Rachael Ray show tickets, cutlery, and cookware will also be raffled during the event.
Important note — Ms. Ray will sign a maximum of 600 autographs.
