Are you looking for an appetizer that isn’t the same old order of nachos or mozzarella sticks? Then be sure to give this tasty spinach ball recipe a try.

What you’ll need:

  • 2 packages of 12 ounce frozen chopped spinach.
  • 1 small onion, chopped.
  • 4 eggs beaten.
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme.
  • 3/4 cup melted butter.
  • 8 ounces grated Parmesan cheese.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  • 5 cups seasoned bread crumbs.

Thaw spinach, making sure it is well drained. Squeeze spinach to make sure that excess moisture is removed. Mix all ingredients together well in a large mixing bowl and place in refrigerator to chill for an hour. After the mixture has cooled, form into balls. Bake on a greased cookie sheet for 20 minutes in a 325 degree oven. Serve with ranch dip while still warm.

Enjoy!
